Have a mobile piece of equipment on production floor that is not hardwired? Usually these types of equipment don’t have lockable switch but power source need to LOTO to work safely. Simply attach Electrical Plug Cover Lockout to frame of the equipment, so it would be there when LOTO will be required to perform setup, PM or repair.
Follow steps to perform plug lockout:
- Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
- Open the yellow container by sliding down.
- Place cord in the container
- Shut the container by closing and then pushing up.
- Place your lock on the container.
